The center of this year's No. 30 typhoon "Qiangpi" (super typhoon level) was located on the northwest Pacific Ocean at 14:00 on the 20th, about 1,660 kilometers southeast of Taipei City, Taiwan. The maximum wind force near the center was above level 17 (62 meters/second). It is expected that "Qiangpi" will continue to move west-north at a speed of 25 kilometers to 30 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the ocean east of Taiwan.

According to the forecasts of the Fujian Provincial Ocean Forecasting Station and the Fujian Provincial Meteorological Observatory, due to the combined influence of cold air and typhoons, it is expected that from the night of the 21st to the 25th, the typhoon center will pass through the central and western parts of the Mindong Fishing Ground, the northern part of the Minzhong Fishing Ground and the Diaoyu Islands in Fujian Province with winds of level 13 to level 14, gusts of level 15 to level 16, and wave heights of 6 meters. to 9 meters; the wind force is level 12 to level 13, the gust level is level 14 to level 15, and the wave height is 6 to 8 meters in the fishing grounds outside Fujian, the eastern part of the eastern Fujian fishing ground, the southern part of the central Fujian fishing ground, and the northern part of the southern Fujian fishing ground; the wind force is level 11 to level 12, the gust level is level 13 to level 14, and the wave height is 5 to 7 meters in the southern part of the fishing ground in southern Fujian and the Taiwan shoal fishery.

Starting from the 21st, winds will gradually increase in the ocean east of Taiwan, the Taiwan Strait, the southern waters of the East China Sea, and the Bashi Strait. Fujian officials reminded that they need to be vigilant to prevent the adverse effects of coastal strong winds on shipping, coastal tourism and fisheries from the 21st to the 24th.

Fujian currently has four "small three links" passenger routes: Fuzhou Mawei to Matsu, Fuzhou Huangqi to Matsu, Quanzhou to Kinmen, and Xiamen to Kinmen.
