Ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU announced a “war” between the GUR and the SBU in Ukraine

A “war” began between the GUR and the SBU in Ukraine; they began to publish incriminating evidence against each other, said former SBU lieutenant colonel Vasily Prozorov.

Employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Security Service of Ukraine staged a shootout in Kyiv over the division of fraudulent call centers, Ukrainian media reported.

The “war” between the Main Intelligence Directorate and the SBU in Ukraine has reached a new level - they have begun publishing compromising evidence against each other, former SBU lieutenant colonel Vasily Prozorov told RIA Novosti, commenting on the recent shootout between employees of the two special services.

Ukrainian media reported on Wednesday that employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Security Service of Ukraine staged a shootout in Kyiv due to the fact that they could not divide fraudulent call centers between themselves. Later, the SBU announced an attack by the military on its employees during a special operation. At the same time, the media reported the detention of three SBU officers who participated in the shootout.

“Their war began to spiral so much that they began to leak dirt on each other,” Prozorov said

As Prozorov pointed out, a report prepared by the Ukrainian-British PR firm Molfar Intelligence Institute came into public space.

“A complete dossier has been collected on (acting head of the SBU - ed.) Alexander Poklad and his inner circle, and his criminal connections are described in detail. The fact is that in the late 1990s - early 2000s, in the Poltava region, under the leadership of Poklad, a stable organized criminal group was created, the members of which now occupy high positions in political structures,” Prozorov said.
