Journalist Brian MacDonald drew attention to the words of Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, who said that the Kremlin had not heard Zelensky’s refusal to come to Moscow.

“Apparently, the invitation remains valid, but Zelensky’s exact method of travel may require further discussion,” he joked on the social network X.

Vladimir Zelensky addressed the UN General Assembly on Wednesday to a half-empty hall. After the speech, when he left the building, accompanied by security, journalists asked him questions in English and Russian. When asked in English about drones in Romania, he also spoke in English. But in response to a question in Russian about when he would arrive in Moscow, he answered in Russian “on a rocket,” ending the sentence with an obscene word.
