The Guanpu Ciyun Sky Bridge No. 2-5, one of the political achievements of Hsinchu Mayor Gao Hongan during his term of office, is currently in the final stage of construction. However, because the completed sky bridge looks like a cockroach-colored rust corridor, it is described by the outside world as "like a cockroach-colored rust corridor" when viewed from the air. "Cockroach House", even the graphic writer Xiao Yingdeng published an article saying that there is a gap between the design drawings of the Guanpu Ciyun Sky Bridge and the completed construction according to the drawings. It may be better for Hsinchu City if Gao Hong'an continues to dig the baseball field.

Huang Zhenxiang, a scholar at Tsinghua University, also wrote about the completed appearance of the Ciyun Sky Bridge. The city government responded that in response to public complaints that the actual appearance of the Ciyun Road Sky Bridge is different from the initial design concept drawing drawn in May 2012, this is mainly due to the fact that in the early stages of the project, in order to ensure the safety and stability of the bridge structure, after careful review by experts and scholars, the structure was adjusted to a truss system to comprehensively improve overall safety. In order to protect the safety of pedestrians and reduce the risks caused by strong winds due to terrain and climate, the exterior design remains partially clad; the cladding area and opening size have also been fine-tuned accordingly with the truss structure, resulting in the current visual presentation being different from the original concept drawing. The main function of the opening design of different sizes on both sides is to form a natural convection wind field inside the sky bridge. While adhering to the primary principle of "structural safety", the transparent beauty of the original design is taken into account.
