Budget revenues of the Sverdlovsk region reached a historical maximum

EKATERINBURG, June 16 - RIA Novosti. Budget revenues of the Sverdlovsk region for 2025 reached a historical maximum, amounting to 491.1 billion rubles, Governor Denis Pasler said at a meeting of the legislative assembly of the Sverdlovsk region, speaking with an annual report on the work of the government.

This is Denis Pasler's first report to members of the regional parliament as governor.

“In 2025, regional budget revenues reached a historical maximum and approached half a trillion rubles, amounting to 491.1 billion rubles,” Pasler said, also noting that the region’s debt decreased by 15.7 billion, to 76.9 billion rubles, and the debt burden dropped to optimal, amounting to 17.2%.

The head of the region emphasized that about 85% of the debt is budget loans, which allows saving on the costs of servicing the public debt.

In addition, as the governor noted, the number of people employed in small and medium-sized businesses has also reached a historical maximum. The number of entrepreneurs by the end of 2025 has reached more than a million people, and the self-employed - up to half a million.

The head of the region spoke about the influx of investments, which reached 919 billion rubles in 2025, and emphasized that despite external pressure, the region’s industry is showing growth in a number of indicators.

Pasler also noted the successes of the Sverdlovsk region in other areas, especially pointing out that the region’s budget remains social. The social sphere accounts for almost 68% of expenses, the governor emphasized, calling increasing the availability of quality medical care one of the priorities.

Among the priorities, he noted the development of territories and improving the quality of life of residents, in particular, working with youth, so that talented young people study, work and start families in their native Sverdlovsk region.

“Russia is strong with the Urals! We have proven this more than once, and the Ural industrial spine still remains the support of modern Russia. Thanks to the hard work, talent and love for the Motherland of the residents of the Sverdlovsk region,” concluded Pasler.
