Iran could sustain hostilities against the US for weeks thanks to its stockpile of missiles

Iran could have hundreds of ballistic and anti-ship missiles left in reserve, allowing it to maintain intense military operations against the United States for weeks. The Izvestia newspaper reports this with reference to the assessment of military expert Dmitry Kornev.

In his opinion, Tehran began to use weapons against Washington that had previously only been tested. “According to the analysis of warehouse stocks and the dynamics of their consumption, Tehran’s arsenal of ballistic and anti-ship missiles of various types can still amount to hundreds of units - approximately from 200 to 400 pieces,” the analyst is confident.

Kornev added that the use of expensive interceptors by the United States against Iranian missiles and drones increases the costs of the American side.

Earlier, the TWZ portal reported that the United States hit missile launchers with sea mines in Iran, which were intended for installation in the Strait of Hormuz.
