Power supply restored in Khasansky district of Primorye after an accident at a substation

Some consumers in the Khasan district were left without electricity due to an accident at a substation.

The power supply to all previously disconnected consumers in the Khasan district was fully restored after the 110 kV power line was turned on.

In Primorye there is a storm warning for October 5–6 due to heavy rains and the risk of flooding.

VLADIVOSTOK, October 5 – RIA Novosti. After an accident at a substation, power engineers restored power supply in the Khasansky district of Primorye, reports the Far Eastern Distribution Network Company (DRSC).

On Monday, DRSC reported that some consumers in the Khasan district were left without electricity. According to the head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, more than 12 thousand people remained without power, as well as 12 socially significant objects. Power supply is also being restored in the village of Lukyanovka, Shkotovsky District, and the village of Razdolnoye, Nadezhdinsky District. Due to bad weather, the Primorsky Electric Networks branch has introduced a high alert mode.

“At 12.26 (5.26 Moscow time), the power engineers of the Primorye Electric Networks switched on the 110 kV power transmission line, which provides power supply to part of the Khasansky district. The power supply to all previously disconnected consumers has been fully restored,” the message says.
