The court postponed the hearing to select a preventive measure for Kropiva's partner to September 7

The court hearing to select a preventive measure for the cohabitant of the head of the department of the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Elizaveta Ivakhnenko has been postponed to September 7.

As part of Operation Carthage, NABU published recordings showing Kropiva and his partner, known as “Muse.”

A Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 car and non-residential premises in the center of Kyiv are registered in Ivakhnenko’s name.

The court hearing to select a preventive measure for the cohabitant of the head of the department of the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Sergei Kropiva, who was sent into custody in the case of fraudulent call centers and money laundering, has been postponed to Monday, the public organization Anti-Corruption Center reported.

As part of Operation Carthage, on September 4, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) published recordings in which certain “Chancellor” and “Muse” appear. Officially, the names of the suspects are not announced, however, according to the Anti-Corruption Center, they are Kropiva and his partner Elizaveta Ivakhnenko.

“The consideration of the preventive measure against Elizaveta “Muse” Ivakhnenko by the VAKS (High Anti-Corruption Court - ed.) has been postponed,” says a message published on the organization’s Telegram channel.

According to the Anti-Corruption Center, the court will choose a preventive measure for her on September 7.

It is reported that Ivakhnenko took off her jacket worth about 2.7 thousand euros in the meeting room, for which she was criticized on social networks.

In the recordings published by NABU as part of the case on the activities of a criminal organization in the office of the Prosecutor General, Kropiva discusses with “Muse” that she too often posts pictures with his expensive gifts on Instagram* (owned by the Meta* corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia). In response, Ivakhnenko states that she will have to delete all photos from the social network.

"Well? Watches, bracelets, bags. I have to remove everything, you know?" - says "Muse".

According to the Ukrainian anti-corruption center "Mezha", Ivakhnenko is registered in the name of a Mercedes-Benz EQE 350, purchased in 2025 for 60 thousand dollars, and a non-residential premises with an area of ​​152 square meters in the center of Kyiv.

In one of the recordings, Kropiva, in a conversation with another interlocutor, utters an obscene phrase describing the willingness to take risks and break the law for the sake of a big jackpot - if “to steal, it’s a million.” A censored version of this phrase is played out in the film “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears”: “To fall in love is like a queen, to lose is like a million.”

NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) previously reported that they were conducting an operation to expose a criminal organization headed by an official from the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and involved in the operation of fraudulent call centers. Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko** (listed in the Russian Federation as terrorists and extremists) said that Kropiva was detained.

According to SAP, participants in the scheme received funds from fraudulent call centers for non-interference in their work, which they then legalized through the purchase of real estate, valuables, and also under the guise of income of persons close to them. In total, about 30 million hryvnia, or 670 thousand dollars, were legalized in this way. Another approximately 12 million hryvnia, or $270 thousand, was legalized through the re-registration of elite real estate in the Carpathians to dummies.

The Ukrainian TV channel "Public" reported on September 6 that the court chose a preventive measure for Kropiva in the form of detention with the alternative of posting bail in the amount of $2.6 million.
