More than 70 countries have confirmed their participation in the XII St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures.

The forum will be held in St. Petersburg from September 24 to 26 on the theme “United cultures - common values.”

Preparations for the forum have been completed, noted Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova.

MOSCOW, September 17 - RIA Novosti. More than 70 countries have confirmed their participation in the XII St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Culture reported, citing Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov.

The forum will be held in the northern capital from September 24 to 26. It is a platform for dialogue on the most important issues on the global cultural and humanitarian agenda. Its theme this year is “United cultures – shared values.”

“Thanks to a large-scale invitation campaign around the world, representatives of more than 70 countries have already confirmed their participation in the forum, we are expecting official delegations from 44 foreign states and international organizations,” the press service of the Ministry of Culture quotes Kobyakov as saying.

“The conclusions and proposals based on the results of the business program must be summarized, recorded in the final materials and, together with the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, published as the main trends in the development of the industry for the future,” the message adds.
