The authorities of the Belgorod region report the early fulfillment of the indicators of the program for relocation from dilapidated housing

BELGOROD, September 23 – RIA Novosti. The authorities of the Belgorod region continue to work to improve housing conditions in the region, resettlement is proceeding systematically, according to the indicators of the federal project, the region is ahead of schedule, said acting governor Alexander Shuvaev.

On Wednesday, Shuvaev, together with the chairman of the Russian Lawyers Association, chairman of the board of trustees of the Territorial Development Fund, Sergei Stepashin, held a meeting on the progress of the implementation of the regional program for relocating citizens from emergency housing. The resettlement program is being implemented within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.

“We reviewed the current results. The work is proceeding systematically, the pace is not slowing down. According to the program for the resettlement of houses recognized as unsafe before January 1, 2017, 3,115 people have already been resettled - that’s 1,313 residential premises with a total area of ​​almost 54.3 thousand square meters,” Shuvaev said.

For houses recognized as unsafe after January 1, 2017, 1,675 people received keys - 742 premises with a total area of ​​27.4 thousand square meters. Work is also being actively carried out on objects that are just included in the program: for example, in Belgorod on Slavyanskaya Street, 7g, 120 people are waiting for new housing, in Gubkin on Sevastopolskaya Street, 30 - 29 people.

“According to the indicators of the federal project for 2026, we are ahead of the curve: the plan for the area of ​​premises has been fulfilled by 106%, and in terms of the number of residents - by 106.3%. However, we cannot stop there. We discussed with Sergei Vadimovich further steps to increase the efficiency of using budget funds for these purposes,” Shuvaev emphasized.
