The Arkhangelsk region is expanding support measures for SVO participants and their families

ARKHANGELSK, September 23 – RIA Novosti. Deputies of the Arkhangelsk Regional Assembly adopted a number of bills that will expand the current list of measures to support SVO participants and their families; they relate to quotas for jobs, preferential vouchers for children, said the governor of the region, Alexander Tsybulsky.

All proposed initiatives were submitted for consideration by the regional governor.

“We continue to provide assistance to special operation veterans with employment. For organizations in the Arkhangelsk region whose number of employees exceeds 100 people, it is proposed to establish a mandatory quota for hiring SVO participants in the amount of 1% of the average number of employees,” Tsybulsky wrote in a channel on the Max platform, noting that this will create additional social and labor guarantees for participants in hostilities.

Another legislative initiative concerns the children of veterans and active members of the Military Military District, as well as deceased military personnel. A bill has been submitted for consideration that determines the validity period and procedure for providing preferential vouchers for children in recreation and recreation organizations. The categories of district districts whose children are entitled to such a measure of support are also specified.

“The period for consideration of appeals of SVO participants to state bodies and local governments will be reduced - from 30 to 15 days. The document was adopted for the timely protection of the rights of combat veterans,” Tsybulsky explained.
