The "Tiangong Classroom·Hong Kong and Macao Special" space teaching event was held this morning. The Shenzhou 23 crew astronauts Zhu Yangzhu, Zhang Zhiyuan, and Li Jiaying served as space teachers, giving space teaching to Hong Kong and Macao students and interacting with the sky and the earth.

Through the big screen behind me, I can see the operating status of the Chinese space station assembly, as well as real-time images of the Shenzhou 23 astronauts in the Tianhe core module, as well as scenes of ground classrooms in Hong Kong.

Now, the three astronauts are in very good physical and mental condition, and they are making preparations for the class. Some items that will be used in the classroom are already placed on the small table, including some space food, towels, and drinking water bottles.

In today's "Tiangong Classroom", in addition to some interesting space science demonstrations, astronauts will also show you the three-cabin layout of the space station and the functions of each cabin section, as well as the space kitchen and space vegetable garden that everyone is paying close attention to. In addition, there will be interactions between heaven and earth with students in ground classes.

How to realize the interaction between heaven and earth?

In the flight control hall, on-site staff were carrying out some debugging-related work. A very important task was the inspection of the voice and image of the sky and the earth, which involved the protection of the communication network between the sky and the earth. All the voice and images of astronauts on the space station must pass through the space station and pass through relay satellites before they can be transmitted to the flight control center where we are now. The flight control center then transmits these signals to the classroom on the ground through communication links. Similarly, voice and images such as questions and answers between teachers and students in ground classes must go through these complex links in reverse before they can interact with astronauts on the space station with almost no delay.

In order to ensure smooth communication between heaven and earth throughout the "Tiangong Classroom", the staff took a number of measures, including using three relay satellites to relay signal communication, and there are also two backup relay satellites.
