Burmese man drowned at Taichung Lihpao Land Malawan Water Park

A Burmese man and his family rented a car to play at the well-known Marawan Water Park in Lihpao Land in central China. Unexpectedly, around 2 pm yesterday, he suddenly lost breathing and heartbeat in the water. After receiving first aid at the park, he was sent to the hospital for rescue, but he still died. The Dajia Police Station stated that the man was suspected of drowning, and the detailed cause of death will be reported to the prosecutor for examination and clarification.

Yesterday at 2:02 pm, the Taichung City Fire Department received a report that a person was suspected to be lifeless after playing in the water at a well-known water park in Houli District, Taichung City. The Houli detachment dispatched an ambulance and 2 firefighters to the rescue. Later, an additional police vehicle and 2 firefighters were dispatched. The ambulancemen arrived at the scene and reported that the man was a Burmese national, 52 years old, with no obvious trauma, and was in OHCA condition. After first aid treatment, he was sent to Dajia Lee General Hospital for rescue, but unfortunately he still died.

Since it was the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, there were many tourists in the water park yesterday. Many people saw the first aid process and saw the park's lifeguards rescuing tourists. One tourist said he felt terrible and worried when he saw a drowning person being rescued on the shore. A student saw the rescue process and told his parents that he hoped the tourist could be rescued.

The park responded by pointing out that at around 2 pm yesterday, a tourist fell into coma in the shallow waters of the tsunami in Mala Bay. The lifeguards at the scene immediately carried out emergency rescue and notified 119 to assist in sending the patient to the hospital. After receiving medical treatment, there was still no cure. The operator deeply regrets this. Since the cause of the incident has yet to be ascertained and involves the privacy of the individual tourist and his family, it is inconvenient to disclose relevant details.

It is understood that the Burmese man rented a car to play in the amusement park with his family, and unexpectedly died in an accident. The Dajia Police Station stated that it has preliminary understanding that the man drowned, and will report to the prosecutor for an examination to clarify his death.
