Iran's Vice President warns of tough months ahead for US economy as renewed strikes hit

Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref believes that the US economy faces difficult months due to the resumption of American attacks on the Islamic republic.

US President Donald Trump said that the volume of oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz has almost returned to the level before the conflict with Iran.

Mohammad Reza Aref added that Tehran's response to US strikes will be asymmetrical and will deprive Washington of a sense of security.

TEHRAN, September 3 - RIA Novosti. Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref believes that the US economy faces difficult months due to the resumption of American attacks on the Islamic republic.

At the same time, US President Donald Trump said that the volume of oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz has almost returned to the level before the start of the conflict with Iran. Iran says it has complete control over Hormuz.

“Americans should stock up on fuel as the US economy faces difficult months ahead,” Aref wrote on social media X.

He added that since the resumption of US strikes on Iran, the Islamic republic's leadership has changed its security calculations and defense doctrine. From now on, Tehran's response will be asymmetrical, multi-level and such that it will deprive Washington of a sense of security, the Iranian politician believes.
