The President of Slovakia proposed to intensify the dialogue between Europe and Russia

Slovak President Peter Pellegrini proposed intensifying European efforts to start a dialogue with Russia. His words are reported by TASS.

“I think that we would have to intensify efforts [to establish] direct communication with the Russian Federation, of course, together with Ukraine, so that we try to restore [the chance of] a diplomatic resolution to this military conflict,” explained the head of the NATO country.

Earlier, Europe’s chances in the confrontation with Russia were assessed. It was reported that, according to experts, Europe cannot withstand a protracted conflict with Russia.
