EVA Air’s revenue in August reached 22.891 billion yuan, the second highest in single-month history

EVA Air's consolidated revenue in August reached 22.891 billion yuan, with an annual growth rate of 24.92%. Not only has its revenue exceeded 20 billion yuan for five consecutive months, it also set the second-highest single-month consolidated revenue in history. The cumulative consolidated revenue from January to August reached 173.63 billion yuan, setting a new high for the same period in previous years.

Among the revenue in August, passenger operation revenue reached 14.208 billion yuan, a record high, with an annual growth rate of 21.06%. Cargo operation revenue reached 5.845 billion yuan, with an annual growth rate of 28.72%. The cumulative passenger operation revenue from January to August reached 109.369 billion yuan, which also set a new high in passenger operation revenue for the same period in the past.

In terms of passenger transport, EVA Air pointed out that benefiting from summer travel demand, the air passenger transport market maintained a good operating pace in August. Long-haul routes to Europe and the United States departing from Taiwan were in high demand, and the average passenger load factor successfully exceeded 90%. In terms of short-haul regional routes, passenger performance in popular tourist areas such as Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia remained high; at the same time, bookings for routes to China and Macau also showed steady growth. Overall, driven by the simultaneous increase in demand for long- and short-haul routes, the passenger transport market continued its existing growth trend in August and successfully boosted overall revenue performance.

In terms of freight, demand in the air freight market to the United States was stable in August. The momentum of semiconductors, server components and network equipment continued in July. Coupled with the gradual increase in the demand for new electronic products, the overall cargo volume continued to be strong. The demand in the European market gradually recovered after the summer holidays. EVA Air will continue to flexibly allocate fleet space, acquire the most suitable cargo types, improve space utilization, and steadily improve overall operating performance.
