In response to Miaoli's industrial transformation, the increase in dual-income families, and the generally delayed childbearing age, Chen Pin'an, a candidate for Miaoli County Mayor nominated by the Democratic Progressive Party, announced today (24th) a further upgrade of the "Miaoli Good Pregnancy Policy" and promised to promote artificial reproduction with a maximum subsidy of 80,000 yuan, medical egg freezing with a maximum subsidy of 80,000 yuan, and medical sperm freezing with a maximum subsidy of 10,000 yuan. Chen Pin'an emphasized that the three proposed subsidy amounts are the highest in Taiwan, and he hopes that through comprehensive policy support, Miaoli will become the most child-friendly county and city in Taiwan.

Chen Pin'an said that the specific policy plan for the upgrading of Miaoli's good pregnancy policy includes a subsidy of up to 80,000 yuan for artificial reproduction and medical egg freezing, including a 60,000 yuan egg retrieval operation fee and a 20,000 yuan storage fee; medical sperm freezing will provide a subsidy of 10,000 yuan, covering sperm collection and storage costs.
