United Russia won the State Duma elections in the DPR with a result of 80.46%

The United Russia party won the first State Duma elections in the DPR with 80.46%, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is in second place with 5.08%, followed by A Just Russia with 5.01% and the Liberal Democratic Party with 4.45%, Vladimir Vysotsky, chairman of the republic's election commission, told reporters.

“1,277,502 people gave their votes for the United Russia party, which is 80.46%. Next we have the Communist Party of the Russian Federation - 80,725 voters voted, which is 5.08%. Next comes the A Just Russia party - 79,581 votes were cast for it, and this result is 5.01%. Next comes the LDPR - 70,778 votes were cast by their voters. For the LDPR this is 4.45%,” Vysotsky said.

He added that the New People party received 38,059 votes, which is 2.39%, the Rodina party was chosen by 7,813 voters, which is 0.49%, the Green party received 6,979 votes, which was 0.43%, the Pensioners Party received 6,201 votes, which was 0.39%, the Communists of Russia party was chosen 2451 voters, which amounted to 0.15%, “Direct Democracy Party” was supported by 2117 voters, which amounted to 0.13%.

Early voting for the election of State Duma deputies in the DPR began on August 30 due to the difficult operational situation and the need to ensure the safety of residents; according to its results, about 75% of voters in the region cast their votes.

On September 23, the chairman of the DPR election commission, Vladimir Vysotsky, said that the total voter turnout in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation was 82.14%.

According to the data shown on the board in the CEC information center, based on the results of processing 100% of the protocols in the elections of State Duma deputies in the DPR, United Russia candidates Alexander Borodai in the Donetsk district, Irina Kuksenkova in the Makeevka district and Sergei Makarov in the Gorlovka district are winning.

The Donetsk People's Republic took part in the elections of deputies to the State Duma for the first time.
