Ambassador Miroshnik: Kyiv tried to challenge the elections in Russia using military methods

Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik said that Kyiv tried to cast doubt on the results of the elections in Russia, using various methods, including military ones.

According to Miroshnik, the Russian electoral system survived, and Kyiv had no real reason not to recognize the elections.

MOSCOW, September 26 - RIA Novosti. The Kyiv regime needed any reason, including massive attacks and murders, to try to cast doubt on the results of the elections in Russia, but it failed and the Russian electoral system survived, said Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

“They needed any reason, including the use of military means, pressure, murders, shelling, massive attacks, to cast doubt on the election result, at least in the territories of the new constituent entities of Russia,” Miroshnik told the Izvestia newspaper.

He emphasized that, nevertheless, nothing worked out for Kyiv and Russia’s electronic system survived.

Miroshnik also noted that Kyiv has no real arguments or grounds not to recognize these elections and this could not be achieved even with the use of all prohibited forms and methods of war.

Earlier, Miroshnik told RIA Novosti that the elections in Russia became an irritant for the Kyiv regime, which in its own country deprived citizens of free expression of will. According to him, armed formations of the Kyiv regime attacked the buildings of 74 election commissions on the days of voting in the State Duma elections.
