The prosecutor demands the seizure of the property of a former customs official worth more than 85 million rubles

The prosecutor filed a claim with the Pervorechensky District Court of Vladivostok for the seizure of property and assets worth more than 85 million rubles belonging to the former head of one of the departments of the Far Eastern Customs. Lenta.ru was informed about this by the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office.

The defendant is the former head of the coordination and risk management department of the customs control organization service of the Far Eastern Customs Administration (DVTU).

The Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation against him. As a result, a property complex and financial assets worth more than 85 million rubles were identified there, the legality of the acquisition of which was not confirmed.

Thus, a representative of the state prosecution filed a claim to turn over property worth 53 million rubles and cash in the amount of more than 32 million rubles to the state. The court seized the property of the former official. In addition, it turned out that a criminal case had previously been opened against him under an article on bribery.
