Gunsan City, open recruitment of new tenants for 87 empty stores in public markets

Gunsan City, Jeollabuk-do, announced on the 25th that it would publicly recruit new tenants for 87 empty stores in the public market.

Applicants can apply at the city's Job Economy Department (☎ 063-454-2681) from the 28th of this month to the 8th of next month.

Qualification conditions include being a citizen of Gunsan over the age of 20, not paying national or local taxes, and being able to run a store yourself.

The businesses that can be opened are food-oriented industries such as fisheries, vegetables, fruits, and processed foods on the first floor, and lifestyle-oriented industries such as clothing, bedding, personal goods, and lifestyle culture on the second floor.

The city plans to announce the final selection results on the 14th of next month after reviewing documents and interviews.

Chae Eun-young, head of the city's job and economic department, said, "We hope that this will be an opportunity for new merchants to open empty stores, showcasing various products and services, and breathe new vitality into the public market. We hope for a lot of interest and participation from citizens interested in starting businesses and opening stores in traditional markets."
