SIMFEROPOL, September 29 - RIA Novosti. One of two groups of rescuers sent to search for a missing group of amateur speleologists in the caves of Crimea encountered a collapse, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

“The meeting on the routes was planned in the area of ​​the Marl Hall. However, the group traveling from the entrance of the Red Cave reached the Two Batteries hall (the length of the route is about 5 kilometers). According to preliminary information, rescuers discovered a narrowness due to a collapse, which does not allow the group to move further,” the message says.

The personnel, according to the department, returned to the entrance of the Red Cave.
