In the Yaroslavl region, September 30 has been declared a day of mourning for those killed in a fire at a pyrotechnics production plant in the village of Kubrinsk. The governor of the region, Mikhail Evraev, announced this in his Telegram channel.

On this day, state flags will be flown at half-mast on government buildings, and all television and radio companies and institutions are recommended to cancel entertainment programs and events.

“On myself and on behalf of the regional government, I express deep condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims,” Evraev added.

All emergency services continue to work at the scene of the incident in Pereslavl-Zalessky district. The search and rescue operation is ongoing around the clock.
