The ocean and mountains accompany the National Day fireworks in Taitung.

This year's National Day fireworks were launched tonight at Taitung Waterfront Park. More than 50,000 people came to witness the "Ark of the World: Taiwan" themed fireworks. A total of 19,877 fireworks were launched with a symphony orchestra for half an hour. They included "plum blossoms" and "Double Ten" and other appropriate shapes. The finale was the most powerful colorful thousand-wheel fireworks at the moment. People at the scene held up their mobile phones to take pictures, reflecting the happiness on their faces.

Starting at 8 o'clock tonight, the National Day fireworks were officially launched, using the ocean and mountains as the natural stage. The 30-minute fireworks were accompanied by a live performance by the Taipei Symphony Orchestra's Youth Orchestra (TSO YOUTH). The fireworks exploded in the air at a height of about 550 meters. The whole place was shocked, and everyone was immersed in the interplay of light, shadow and music.

In addition, the number of 16-inch fireworks bombs has been the largest in the past years. The "Plum Blossom" and "Double Ten" fireworks shaped bombs that resemble the national flower are in line with the National Day theme. Finally, there are the most popular colorful thousand-wheel fireworks.

President Lai Ching-te attended the party and emphasized that Taiwan is the "ark" that carries the memories of all ethnic groups and delivers blessings to the world with democracy, freedom, peace and tolerance. Taitung County Magistrate Rao Qingling also said that Taitung faces the Pacific Ocean and is a window for Taiwan to communicate with the world based on the culture of the South Island.
