Non-party legislator Gao Jin Sumei's "big accountant" Zhang Junjie is wanted for accepting Chinese capital as a communist spy. He recently jumped bail and absconded. It is understood that Zhang, who is also an important figure in the unification faction, has long been in charge of the SAIF office, the association's finances and the network resources, but he behaves more like a boss. He once told a friend that he would only go to the office when he had to take out the garbage. He even revealed that he actively asked SAIF to let him be a publicly funded assistant, and his salary was only used as "pocket money."

The investigation found that Zhang Junjie was not only in charge of Gao Jin’s personal trip to China. He had contacted 55 aboriginal villages and towns across Taiwan and organized a delegation of more than 100 people to go to Beijing. The members included local representatives and heads of aboriginal communities.

From the congressional offices, peripheral associations, nearly 100 million yuan in Chinese resources, to mobilizing tribes, mastering the list of participants, and connecting with the Chinese side, Zhang Junjie can be seen operating in the middle; Gao Jin is a politician who meets with high-level officials of the Chinese Communist Party on the stage, while Zhang controls local connections in Taiwan behind the scenes, bringing people from ethnic groups, communities, and indigenous peoples into China's Taiwan-related and ethnic affairs system, becoming an important manipulator in China.

Zhang Junjie privately talked about his relationship with Gaojin's office, and revealed a different attitude from ordinary staff. According to the investigation, when talking about his retirement life with his friends, he once said, "I will only go there (referring to the Legislative Yuan office) if I need to take out the garbage." He also said, "I told the committee members that I have not received a salary for more than ten years. After I retired, I was asked to work as a public assistant on January 1 and started to receive it!" He also described the salary as "I only received some and used it as pocket money."

From not receiving a salary for more than ten years, to voluntarily asking for a high-paying job as a publicly funded assistant after retirement, to describing his salary as "pocket money", Zhang Junjie obviously does not position himself as a general paid staff member; on the one hand, he joked that he would only go to the office to "throw out the trash", but on the other hand, he actually controls the association, finance, hometown and contacts. In name, he is an assistant, but in reality he plays more like a principal.
