New Taipei City mayoral candidate Li Sichuan of the Kuomintang attended a free medical clinic for the elderly in Yonghe on the 16th. Nearly a thousand villagers attended the event. Faced with the transformation challenges of Yonghe's high-density population and old communities, Li Sichuan emphasized that in the future, he will make every effort to accelerate urban renewal and promote multiple policies such as the MRT Zhonghe Guangzhi Line and the upgrade of the Elderly Card to comprehensively improve the safety and commuting functions of Yonghe, so that the elderly can live happily and securely. Li Sichuan said that Yonghe is mature, narrow and densely populated, and the transformation of old communities is urgent. "Accelerating urban renewal" is the top priority for residential security. In terms of transportation and road networks, Li Sichuan reiterated that " Rail Construction 123" policy will work closely with Mayor Chiang Wanan to fully promote the north-south extension of the MRT Zhonghe Guangfu Line, reaching the Arena in the north and extending to Songshan Airport, and extending south to 14 series circular lines and the Ankeng Light Rail, creating a convenient corridor directly to the core of Taipei, greatly easing commuting pressure.

The organizer pointed out that the event has entered its 24th year and is the largest free scissor and ironing clinic for the elderly in the country. It is hosted by the Yonghe District Women's Association and the Mandu Group Yonghe Store, and joins hands with 50 units such as Xinxin Natural Gas and Gubao Home Merchants to participate in the event. There are more than 150 professional designers on site. Designers, teachers and students of Gubao Family Business and Medical Volunteers work together, and there are queues of people early in the morning.
