Zheng Jieren said that the weather will be better next Tuesday (8th), with cloudy to sunny weather everywhere. But starting next Wednesday (9th), the first northeast monsoon will usher in this year's autumn.

"This northeast monsoon will last for three days, affecting all the way from next Wednesday to next Friday (11th). The temperature will not drop much, and there will be a little rain in the north." Zheng Jieren said that under the influence of this northeast monsoon, there will be local short-lived showers in the north, Yilan and the eastern half. Other areas will still be cloudy to sunny, with local short-lived showers in the afternoon.

Zheng Jieren pointed out that this wave of northeast monsoon will not cool down much. During the day, the high temperature in the north is still around 30 degrees, and it may drop to 22 to 24 degrees at night. Overall, it will only drop by about 1 to 2 degrees, which is not particularly significant. Next Saturday (12th), the northeast monsoon will weaken, leaving Greater Taipei and the eastern half of Taipei with some short-lived showers.

Zheng Jieren pointed out that the current intensity of mild typhoon Korowan is already at the lower limit of a light typhoon. In the future, after spinning near the Ryukyu Islands, it will gradually approach Kyushu, Japan from the eastern sea of ​​Ryukyu, and weaken into a tropical depression (TD) within one to two days.
