China News Service, Beijing, August 21 (Reporter Lu Shaowei) During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Beijing's Mentougou District set 32 indicators, laid out key tasks in 9 fields, and planned more than 100 projects worth more than 100 million yuan from the six dimensions of green development, innovative development, coordinated development, cultural and tourism integration, openness and sharing, and security and stability.

Lv Ming introduced that during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Mentougou District will promote the protection and restoration of "mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grass and sand" in an integrated manner, and accelerate the comprehensive management of the northeastern Taihang Mountains, the Xishan Peak Range Rover Forest Trail, and the ecological restoration of Lingshan Alpine Meadows. Comprehensively promote the construction of "one water and three lines" blue and green space scenic corridors in the Heshan Gorge section of Yongding, National Highways 108 and 109, and the Sixth Ring Road. We will build and manage Baihuashan National Nature Reserve with high quality, continue to carry out the "Welcoming Leopards Home" campaign, coordinate ecological protection, green development and improvement of people's livelihood, and strive to become a world biosphere reserve.
Mentougou District will coordinate and promote major projects such as flood control in the Guanting Gorge of the Yongding River, repair and reconstruction of 9 gates and 1 dam in the urban area, and improvement of flash flood control and flood drainage capacity in the Sanjiadian area. Focus on promoting the eastward extension of Hetan Road, Shilong Road, and Lianshihu West Road across the river, as well as the connectivity of nodes such as Junwen Road, Junhong Road, and Lubei Road. Accelerate the construction of Qingshui, Xiaoyuan, Longquan and other fire stations, and build 400 new multi-functional fire warning systems. Deepen the application of artificial intelligence and other technologies, build and strengthen the "city brain" comprehensive data platform, and digitally empower grassroots governance.
In terms of promoting the integrated development of culture, business, tourism and sports, Mentougou District will build high-quality "Jiziwan" ecological wetland, Yongdinglou Cultural Wetland and Mencheng Lake Loop Citywalk characteristic route, promote the rebirth of Sanjiadian's century-old bridge piers and ancient ferry, repair and upgrade Santan Ancient Road, Yuhe Ancient Road and Xishan Avenue to achieve "blue-green road vision" interconnection. We will promptly start the construction of the Shantandu waterfront vitality area and plan to launch the "Yongding Peninsula" world-class urban waterfront living room.
Mentougou District will implement the renovation along the Gyeonggi Great Wall, the overall quality improvement project of the ancient road to the west of Beijing, and the overall style improvement action of the Tanjie Temple and the two temples to create the city's first contiguous ancient temple and ancient village cultural and tourism integration demonstration area, promote Tanzhe Leisure and Tourism Resort to be upgraded to the national level, and enhance the popularity and brand influence of Miaofeng Mountain, Baihua Mountain, Nanshiyang, Cuanbai and other scenic spots. By the end of the “15th Five-Year Plan”, the number of A-level scenic spots in the region exceeded 25, and there were more than 6 4A-level and above scenic spots. By the end of the “15th Five-Year Plan”, the number of tourist arrivals and comprehensive income had doubled.
Lu Ming said that Mentougou District will focus on cultivating new productive forces and building a new highland for industry with high standards. Lay out and build industry intelligent computing centers, promote the implementation of 10,000P computing power in Zhuwo and Lujiashan, build "algorithm warehouses", form more than 10 vertical application models, and implement open source chip and robot integration innovation centers. Build an audio-visual content release and dissemination platform to create more "audio-visual +" benchmark scenes. We will continue to implement the "Yongding Riverside Micro-Short Drama Co-Creation Plan", focusing on high-quality comics and micro-short drama tracks, and creating unique carriers such as the West Beijing Drama Valley Narrative Hall, AIGC Creation Base, XR Immersive Audiovisual Laboratory, and Hoshino OPC Community.
Mentougou District will also give play to the leading role of the National Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Treatment Center, rely on Fuwai Research Hospital and Baiyang Biomedical Research and Transformation Functional Platform, build a collaborative innovation system for clinical research, precision processing, CRO services, and market transformation, and accelerate the industrialization of innovative medical devices such as new-generation artificial hearts and 4π intelligent robot radiotherapy. Promote the transformation of Zhongguancun Mentougou Park into a comprehensive future technology town. The Shilong Phase 5 new materials research and development base and innovative pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing base will be constructed, and existing factories and inefficient buildings will be revitalized to create a new smart manufacturing space. Optimize the traffic organization of the park and improve road accessibility and travel convenience. Implement the talent housing plan and build the Beijing West Talent Building and Youth Reception Hall.
