Footage review minutes have been obtained regarding the incident in which 10 people, including 9 students and 1 teacher, lost their lives in the armed attack carried out by 8th grade student İsa Aras Mersinli at Ayser Çalık Secondary School in Kahramanmaraş's Onikişubat district on April 15, 2026.
According to the information obtained, the minutes included the route the attacker followed from his home to the school, as well as the movements of two children who entered the schoolyard approximately 20 minutes before the attack.
TWO CHILDREN WHO ENTERED THE SCHOOL GARDEN BEFORE THE ATTACK, CAUGHT ON CAMERA
According to the video review minutes, a child with a camera in his helmet came to the main entrance of the school on an electric bicycle at 13.05.56. After waiting for a short time, the child left the area at 13.06.12 and returned to the front of the school at 13.07.34.
At 13.07.57, another child came to him on a bicycle. Two children entered the garden from the main entrance of the school at 13.08.29.
In his statement, physical education teacher H.T. stated that when he realized that the children were not students of the school, he went to them, warned them and took them out of the school garden.
According to security camera records, the teacher went to the children at 13.09.07. The two children left the main entrance of the school at 13.09.22 and walked away in different directions.
REQUEST FROM FAMILIES THAT CONNECTION SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED
Families who lost their relatives in the attack demanded an investigation into whether the two children, who were stated to be not school students, had any connection with the attacker İsa Aras Mersinli.
Families demanded that the children come to the schoolyard shortly before the attack and that one of them had a camera on his helmet to be examined within the scope of the investigation.
There was no definitive determination in the video review reports that there was a connection between the two children and the attacker.
THE MOVEMENTS OF THE TEACHER WHO HEARD THE GUNSHOTS ARE ALSO RECORDED
In the video review report, it was stated that physical education teacher H.T. came to the main entrance gate at 13.09.42 after taking the two children out of school.
In the report, it was recorded that when the teacher heard gunshots at 13.29.46, he left the students in the garden, ran away from the main entrance of the school and moved towards the olive grove opposite the school.
THE ROUTE FOLLOWED BY THE ATTACKER FROM HOME TO SCHOOL HAS BEEN DETERMINED
The minutes also included camera footage of the route that the attacker İsa Aras Mersinli followed from his home before the attack until he reached the school.
According to the records, Mersinli left his house in Haydarbey District on April 15 at 13.14.19.
In the images in front of the door of his house, it was seen that Mersinli had a bag on his back, a photo file and a mobile phone in his hand, and headphones in his ear.
It was determined that Mersinli, who reached the exit of the complex where he lived at 13.15.53, then passed in front of the workplace called Ekleristan, proceeded from the street next to Birlik Ekmek Fırını and walked in front of Emirbey Site and Yeşil Kent Sitesi.
It was reflected in the minutes that Mersinli then entered the street where Ayser Çalık Secondary School is located, waited in front of the school for about a minute and entered through the main entrance door.
