Remarkable report of the school attack

Footage review minutes have been obtained regarding the incident in which 10 people, including 9 students and 1 teacher, lost their lives in the armed attack of student İsa Aras Mersinli on April 15, 2026, at Ayser Çalık Secondary School in Onikişubat district of Kahramanmaraş.

According to the information obtained by ANKA, in the minutes, it was seen in the minutes that a child with a camera in his helmet and another child with him came to the schoolyard on bicycles, approximately 20 minutes before the attack. In the report, physical education teacher H.T. In his statement, he stated that when he realized that the children were not school students, he went to them, warned them and took them out of the garden.

Security camera footage of these moments was also included in the report. According to the video analysis in the report, the child with a camera in his helmet came to the main entrance of the school on an electric bicycle at 13.05.56. After waiting for a short time, the child left the school at 13.06.12 and came back to the school at 13.07.34. At 13.07.57, another child came to him on a bicycle.

Two children entered the main entrance of the school at 13.08.29. At 13.09.07, the physical education teacher went to the children waiting in the school garden. According to the footage, after the teacher approached them, the two children left the main entrance of the school at 13.09.22 and walked away in different directions.

Families who lost their relatives at the school want an investigation into whether İsa Aras Mersinli had any connection with the children on bicycles, who were reportedly not school students, before leaving his residence.

In the video review report, it was recorded that the physical education teacher came to the main entrance of the school at 13.09.42 after dismissing the children, but upon hearing the gunshots at 13.29.46, "he ran away from the main entrance of the school, leaving the students in the garden, and moved towards the olive grove area opposite the school."

In the video review report, it was stated that the camera records of the route used by İsa Aras Mersinli, who carried out the attack and was an 8th grade student at the same school, from his residence to the school before the attack were also examined.

According to the report, Mersinli left his residence in Haydarbey District on April 15, 2026 at 13.14.19. In the images in front of the door of his house, it was seen that Mersinli had a bag on his back, a photo file and a mobile phone in his hand, and a headset in his ear. It was seen that he reached the exit of the site at 13.15.53.

In the continuation of the camera recordings, it was stated that after passing by Mersinli's workplace called "Ekleristan", he continued on the street next to Birlik Ekmek Fırını, passed in front of Emirbey Site and Yeşil Kent Sitesi, and then entered the street where Ayser Çalık Secondary School is located.

It was stated that Mersinli waited in front of the school for about "1 minute" and then entered the school through the main entrance door.
