Lukashenko demanded to increase logging in Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko demanded that the forestry industry increase logging as quickly as possible. During his visit to the Logoisk region, he pointed out the need to take a share in foreign markets, BELTA reports.

“We have to hurry, we have to do it faster. Do not relax under any circumstances. Because you will quickly occupy the markets that are becoming free,” he emphasized.

According to the head of state, there will be no difficulties in sending people to logging, because they are hard workers and want to work themselves. “You just need to talk to them, explain and, of course, pay,” Lukashenko explained.

The President ordered to “do it quickly and work as much as necessary.” Speaking about cooperation with foreign countries, he recalled that Belarus had previously agreed with Oman to build a pulp and cardboard plant on its territory.
