UAE Ministry of Interior issues warning about missile threat

The UAE Ministry of Interior issued a warning about a possible missile threat, declaring in its message: “Given the current conditions, a missile threat is possible. Please take shelter immediately in a secure building away from windows, doors and open areas.”

In a statement on the “X” platform, the UAE Interior Ministry confirmed, “Now the air defenses are dealing with a missile threat. Please stay in a safe place and follow warnings and developments on the official websites.”

The Ministry did not specify the responsible party or the source of this threat until the moment of writing this news, in light of great tension prevailing in the region, against the backdrop of the expiration of the sixty-day period of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, during which an agreement was supposed to be reached to end the war completely.

This comes as Iran continues to close the Strait of Hormuz, in response to the US naval blockade imposed on it and Washington’s threats directed at it, amid mutual accusations of violating the terms of the memorandum.
