National Taitung Business School teacher Lin Zhengkun has been involved in campus sports for 25 years and has accompanied students to grow on the court. He received the "Taitung County 115th Annual Outstanding Coach Award for Sports Meritorious Groups and Personnel" in recognition of his long-term investment in volleyball training, cultivating student players, and promoting volleyball in Taitung area.

Lin Zhengkun graduated from the Physical Education Department of National Taiwan Normal University and returned to Taitung High School to teach in 1987. He was a middle-distance runner in his early years, and he mainly led the school's track and field team in his early years of teaching. During the teaching of physical education, he discovered that students were highly interested in volleyball, so he started training for the volleyball school team in 1990. Since then, he has developed a deep connection with volleyball. He has been leading the team for about 25 years.

During the training process, Lin Zhengkun not only paid attention to technology and physical fitness, but also regarded the players' psychological adjustment as an important issue. He believes that only by completing basic training time and time again can players stabilize themselves, believe in themselves, and bravely face challenges when they really stand on the field and face pressure and difficulties.

Lin Zhengkun recalled that when a game was in trouble in the past, students turned to him and said, "Coach, we can do it!" This short sentence became an important force supporting him to continue leading the team. He said that coaches are the backing of students, but at critical moments, students will also become the strength for coaches to persevere.

In addition to spending many years training for the Taitung High-Shang Volleyball Team, teacher Lin Zhengkun is also actively involved in promoting volleyball in the Taitung area. In the 104th year of the Republic of China, we participated in the reorganization of the Taitung County Sports Association Volleyball Committee, and continued to invest in the management of volleyball events and related training, helping to increase opportunities for Taitung area players to participate in competitions, exchanges and learning, so that volleyball continues to take root in the local area.
