Fraudsters have come up with a new scheme to deceive Russians on the eve of Knowledge Day. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to representatives of the RuStore and F6 companies.

According to experts, scammers create fake versions of school electronic diary applications with lesson schedules and grades, and then distribute them in parent chats under the guise of updates or new versions of official services.

During authorization in the application, the user gives his credentials to the scammers. Another popular scheme was the distribution of copies of banking services under the guise of paying for clubs or making school fees.

RuStore and F6 experts recommend not entering bank card details, logins, passwords and confirmation codes on dubious resources or sites and installing mobile applications only from trusted sources.
