作为首个民族团结进步宣传周系列活动的重要安排，此次活动是四川省首次组织民族团结进步模范参观团，也是省铸牢中华民族共同体意识体验馆举办的首次主题开放日活动。四川旨在以此为起点，持续深化，矩阵拓展，把体验馆建成有温度的“会客厅”、有故事的“大讲堂”、有活力的“大舞台”，引领各族群众响应号召，始终做伟大祖国的守护者、中华文化的传承者、交往交流交融的推动者、中国式现代化的建设者。

活动以多民族和谐共舞的松潘花灯开场。四川省民族团结进步模范个人代表、彝海结盟纪念馆讲解员张燕分享了讲好长征红色故事、赓续红色血脉的真情感悟；体验馆展品捐赠人、雅江县布珠民居三姐妹客栈经营者格德措姆讲述了一家人数十年以客栈为民族团结之家，接待各族游客的亲身经历。参加人员走进体验馆，在“山河共拓开天府”“史卷共书话千秋”“文化共创润四方”“精神共育立天地”“同心共筑中国梦”五个篇章中，感悟民族团结融合的历史脉络和现实成就。活动现场还设置了“触、闻、观、听、品、诵”六个互动环节。
