South African poacher trampled to death by elephants in Kruger National Park

South Africa's Kruger National Park is famous for its rich wildlife, but it also attracts many poachers with ill-intentioned intentions. The Kruger National Park pointed out that two poachers illegally entered the park but encountered a herd of elephants. After the two escaped separately, one of the poachers later testified that he heard the screams of his companions. The rangers found the remains of the missing poachers after tracking and investigation.

The Kruger National Park issued a statement on the 13th, stating that park rangers received information on September 12 that two poachers were suspected of illegally entering the park from the Pafuri area on September 11. Preliminary information showed that the two poachers encountered a herd of elephants after entering the park. The two immediately ran away and lost contact with each other.

One of the poachers later returned home on his own and reported his accomplice missing, saying he heard the other's screams at the time of the incident. Afterwards, the South African Police Service (SAPS) began investigating the case, and the poacher was arrested. He admitted that he had illegally entered the park and accompanied the South African National Parks Service ranger from the Pavuli range station to the site of the accident.

The ranger then followed the footprints of the Luvuvhu River for about 6 kilometers into the park, and finally found the body of the missing suspect. During the search, the rangers also found the remains of a buffalo, which they determined may have been illegally hunted. The police will continue to conduct investigations and autopsies to determine the cause of the poacher's death.
