Parents should pay attention to a sharp change in the behavior of children, especially secrecy, nervousness and interest in documents and money, this may indicate the influence of scammers, candidate of psychological sciences, clinical psychologist Svetlana Kolobova told RIA Novosti.

“More often, parents first notice not the fact of fraud itself - they notice that the child has become different. For example, he began to hide his phone, abruptly close correspondence, get nervous if someone approaches. He may suddenly start asking for money or become interested in his parents’ card, codes and documents,” she said.

The psychologist added that another marker of influence is the “urgency” in the child’s actions - for example, he may need to “do something at the same moment, urgently respond, transfer money or send.”
