State Duma deputy Lugovoi called for closing the British Embassy in Moscow

The British Embassy in Moscow should be closed due to the threat of provocations, State Duma deputy Andrei Lugovoi said. The newspaper “Vzglyad” writes about this.

He recalled that the assassination of the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914 was the reason for the outbreak of the First World War. According to the politician, in this regard, it is easy to imagine what large-scale consequences Kyiv’s provocation against the British ambassador in Moscow could lead to.

The deputy pointed out that Kyiv organizes direct terrorist attacks to attract attention and organizes provocations, including against its own allies.

According to Lugovoi, in the case of the Ukrainian side preparing sabotage against the ambassador, the interesting question remains whether London was aware. He admitted that the British leadership knew about the provocation being prepared by Ukraine.

“There are practically only spies in the diplomatic mission, whom we identify and expel. In addition, the presence of the British embassy poses a threat to us of any provocations,” the deputy pointed out and noted that it should be closed.
