The Armenian delegation participates in the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg

Representatives of Armenia actively participate in the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg.

The mission of the Armenian delegation is to increase the role of Armenia in the international arena and present the country from the best side.

The International Youth Festival takes place from September 11 to 17 in Yekaterinburg, ten thousand people from 191 countries take part in it.

YEREVAN, September 14 - RIA Novosti. Representatives of Armenia are committed to the most productive participation in the International Youth Festival that opened in Yekaterinburg, Chairman of the Russian-Armenian Youth Union (RAYU), head of the Eurasian Youth Assembly in Armenia Rafael Poghosyan told RIA Novosti.

According to him, a large delegation of the Russian-Armenian Youth Union as part of the Armenian delegation attended the opening ceremony of the festival on Sunday.

“We are committed to the most productive participation of Armenia in the festival, and, of course, our mission will be to give a new quality and increase the role of Armenia in the international arena,” said the head of RASM.

In turn, the chairman of the public organization “Armenian Youth Network”, coordinator of the Armenian delegation at IMF-2026, Zhirayr Torgomyan, noted that it is a great honor and at the same time responsibility for the Armenian delegation to adequately represent Armenia at the IMF.

“I am confident that we will show our country, its culture and youth from the best side. And most importantly, each participant in our delegation will try to make the most of the festival’s opportunities,” Torgomyan said.

The International Youth Festival takes place from September 11 to 17 in Yekaterinburg, ten thousand people from 191 countries take part in it.

The festival participants were greeted and congratulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin via video link.
