The Democratic Progressive Party's Kaohsiung mayoral candidate Lai Ruilong's camp last night questioned the Kuomintang's Kaohsiung mayoral candidate Ke Zhien's camp and "eating tofu" towards its supporters? Ko Chi-en's campaign office said today that the social welfare symposium in question was a mere policy exchange and had never claimed political support. However, the Lai camp deliberately spread rumors that Ke Zhien took the initiative to seek a visit and later publicized the other party's support.
