There are highlights in Taichung City’s National Day Flag Raising Ceremony this year! In addition to arranging for the World Junior Soft Baseball Championship champion, the Heping District Dovelan Elementary School Little League team to lead the singing of the national anthem, a formation of drones and wild geese were also arranged to fly the flag, and 76 reserve military police were on the ground to take over the baton and protect the giant national flag, creating the most impressive visual highlight of the National Day. This year’s Double Ten flag-raising souvenirs will be distributed in limited quantities, and the public is invited to attend the National Day flag-raising ceremony at the square in front of the city hall at 8 a.m. on the 10th.

Civil Affairs Secretary Wu Shiwei pointed out that this year’s National Day flag-raising ceremony was to “glorify the National Day”. With the theme of "Happy Taichung", the "Aerial Display and Protection of the National Flag" was specially planned. Combining the advantages of Taichung's drone industry and the general technical strength of military and civilians, the national flags were hoisted by drones respectively, and the wild geese formation solemnly flew over the square in front of the government, allowing the national flag to soar over the city. Then, 76 reserve military policemen from the Taichung City Reserve Military Police Hesong Association jointly displayed and protected the huge national flag. The majestic display of the national flag entered the venue, and presented the glory of National Day with "flag display in the air, flag protection on the ground" relay.
