Gao City Councilor Huang Wenyi spoke up for the disabled children during the inquiry. He mentioned that there is a lack of play equipment suitable for children with disabilities in the park. Children with disabilities in wheelchairs can only watch and not play in the park. Mayor Chen Qimai responded to the inquiry and pointed out that this involves the planning of play equipment. There will be 14 new park development plans in the future, and the suggestions of councilors will be taken into overall consideration.

Huang Wenyi cited the many parks in foreign countries as having inclusive play equipment for the disabled. He said that in foreign parks, people with disabilities in wheelchairs can use wheelchair swings and other equipment. On the other hand, Kaohsiung seems to have less care for children with disabilities when it comes to park play equipment.

He further mentioned that the Children's Playground in Central Park has been in operation for more than three years and has a lot of people on holidays. However, the play facilities have long lagged behind other parks. There are insufficient numbers and there are no facilities suitable for children with disabilities. Some parents bring disabled children in wheelchairs to the venue and can only watch other children playing happily. It is recommended to expand the type and scope of play equipment and evaluate the inclusion of play equipment suitable for children with disabilities.

Chen Qimai said that Kaohsiung City will open 14 new parks this year, and he will ask the Parks Department to take the council members' suggestions into consideration as a whole. However, since it involves the design of recreational equipment, he asked the council members to give them some time, and the city government will discuss it with the Special Public Alliance.
