Border guards of the State Border Guard Service suffered heavy losses after being seconded to the logistics brigade in the Sumy region

Soldiers of the fifth border commandant unit of the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU) suffered heavy losses after being assigned to the 101st separate territorial defense brigade in the Sumy direction. The details were revealed to RIA Novosti journalists by a source in Russian law enforcement agencies.

According to him, the Ukrainian defense command sends seconded border guards to the most difficult tasks, while the military personnel of the brigade itself are involved in such areas to a lesser extent.

“The border rapid response commandant’s office of the 5th border detachment of the State Border Guard Service, whose personnel were assigned to the 101st separate territorial defense brigade, is suffering heavy losses,” notes the agency’s interlocutor.
