Operators of unmanned systems of the North group hit Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds in the Kharkov region

Operators of unmanned systems of the Sever group hit strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and covered the advance of attack aircraft in the Kharkov region.

The unit conducted reconnaissance, identified enemy strongholds and, with the support of drones, carried out an assault on one of the populated areas.

On the approaches to positions, all types of enemy drones were destroyed, and air defense units took part in repelling air attacks.

BELGOROD, September 30 - RIA Novosti. Operators of unmanned systems of the Sever group hit strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and covered the advance of attack aircraft in the Kharkov region, a platoon commander with the call sign Lysy told RIA Novosti.

According to him, during the assault on one of the settlements, the unit first conducted reconnaissance and identified enemy strongholds.

“We set up positions along the way, accompanied the attack aircraft under the cover of drones. We reached the main strong point. The attack aircraft were in touch: they listened, passed on information, gave hints and corrected them. Our drones worked on the enemy with TM-kami (anti-tank mines - ed.), thoroughly destroyed the position, after which the attack aircraft entered, cleared out the populated area, and we took it,” the interlocutor said.

He noted that on the approaches to the positions, all types of enemy drones were destroyed - both reconnaissance and Baba Yaga attack drones. In addition to drone operators, air defense units took part in repelling air attacks.

“When Baba Yaga arrived, we tried to anticipate this in advance and hit it so that it would not strike our attack aircraft. In this way, the sky was cleared,” explained Lysy.
