Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of saving the person who attacked the father of a protestor during the protest at Jantar Mantar.
Actually, a video is viral on social media, after which Delhi Police has once again been accused of protecting the people who are committing violence on the protesters.
However, Delhi Police has denied this and says that action was taken in this matter as per law.
This issue came into discussion when in a viral video a person named Swatantra Bhardwaj can be seen saying that he broke the head of Nishu's father and in this situation, a case of attempt to murder was made against him but due to the call of Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra, he was released.
However, Kapil Mishra's side in this matter has not come forward yet. Delhi Police also said that no one has intervened in this matter.
Nishu Azad had gone to participate in the CJP demonstration with her father Sanjay Kumar.
On Swatantra Bhardwaj's video, Nishu Azad said that he has no hope left from Delhi Police, now only Rahul Gandhi can get him justice.

Nishu Azad posted a video on X in which she is saying, "A video of Swatantra Bhardwaj is being circulated across the country, in which he himself is admitting that he broke my father's head and he should have been charged with attempt to murder, section 307."

"When he had broken my father's head, we had filed an FIR against him but the police is not doing anything. They are roaming around in the name of medical. I have lost hope of justice from Delhi Police. Now I have hope from you Rahul Gandhi ji, I think you will help me in getting justice. How can people who do not have any fear of law roam around freely? They should be in jail."
A video of Swatantra Bhardwaj is viral on social media. In which he is saying, "We tore the head of Nishu's father, do you know which section applies in this - 307. There were seven stitches on his head, the guy was going in the ambulance."
"Free the next day, out, we didn't even go to jail, the whole world should know that we didn't even go to jail, we were roaming around all night."
In this video, he has also claimed to know Kapil Mishra and Chirag Paswan.
While talking to a media channel, Swatantra Bhardwaj also said that he had attacked in self-defense and if he had not defended himself, mob lynching would have taken place.
CJP spokesperson Saurav Das posted about this on Facebook after the video surfaced.
He said, "Let me tell you what happened after BJP-backed goon Swatantra Bhardwaj attacked Dalit man Sanjay at our Jantar Mantar protest: Sanjay ji's head was torn. The wound was so big that a case of attempt to murder (section 307 of IPC) should have been clearly registered in the FIR. The police refused to add this section."
He also alleged that even the section involving grievous hurt was not imposed. He said that DCP Sachin Sharma and ACP Ajay Sharma had clearly rejected this and said - "Go, bring the court order."
He also alleged that the medical report has not been received yet. He also says that Bhardwaj had other associates in this case, who have not been identified yet.
Responding to this post by Saurav Das, a post on The claim of skull fracture is not supported by facts or medico-legal case and is completely baseless.
He wrote, "Based on his (Sanjay's) statement, a case was registered at Parliament Street police station under relevant sections of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS). Persons related to the incident site were detained and during investigation, Suraj Kumar (24) and Swatantra Bhardwaj (21) were served notices as per law and were interrogated. Legal action has been taken and charge sheet will be filed in the competent court soon."
Delhi Police also denied that any influential person had interfered in this matter.
In a post on X, Delhi Police wrote, "Allegations of any kind of undue influence or interference in this case are factually incorrect and baseless. The case has been disposed of strictly in accordance with the law and prescribed procedures."
Saurav Das has also said in another post on X that he and other CJP members will go to Parliament Street Police Station on September 4 at 10 am to get justice for Sanjay Kumar and Nishu.
CJP founder Abhijeet Deepke also said on Delhi Police's post, "The criminal says - I committed the crime. Delhi Police says no, you did not commit the crime."

Nishu Azad made a video and appealed to Rahul Gandhi for help in getting justice. After that Rahul Gandhi also made a post on X.
He wrote, "Nishu, there is no need to panic. I am with you. It is clear that you have been targeted because you raise your voice for the rights of your community and the students. On one hand, Amit Shah's Delhi Police indulges in inhuman brutality with the students. On the other hand, the criminal who beheaded the father of a Dalit girl is roaming freely."
Rahul Gandhi wrote, "Narendra Modi ji and Amit Shah ji - why is such a criminal protected by you and your party people? Will action still be taken or will you keep saving someone? Nishu, your fight is not alone. We will not stop until justice is given. Jai Bhim. Jai Constitution."
Trinamool Congress leader Saket Gokhale, replying to Delhi Police's tweet, wrote, "Do you have any shame, Delhi Police? The accused himself is openly saying in the video that a BJP minister saved him and the police let him go easily. This is very shocking. A person is openly saying that he did it, and Delhi Police is saying that he did not."
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said in a tweet from its handle, "The Prime Minister is our elder brother. These words are being spoken by a street goon, who goes around committing hooliganism every day because Prime Minister Modi and his leaders are in control of him."
AAP has also written that the Prime Minister is giving protection to such goons.
On the other hand, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter, "Is BJP a government or an advocate of criminals?"
Azad Samaj Party's national president Chandrashekhar Azad wrote on Twitter, "Why is there such a big difference between the police records and the statement of the accused Swatantra Bhardwaj? We will ensure a fair investigation of this entire matter and provide justice to the victim's family. Jai Bhim, Jai Bharat."
