Baltika forward Alexander Kuzmin scored an unusual goal in the Youth Football League match against Rotor, throwing the ball in from throw-in after a somersault. Sport Express reports this.

The episode occurred in the 45th compensated minute of the match of the 26th round of Division B. An eighteen-year-old Kaliningrad midfielder performed an acrobatic throw-in, and the ball flew straight into the Volgograd goal. Rotor goalkeeper Oleg Lisitsyn tried to catch the ball, but dropped it from his hands into his own goal.

Because the goalkeeper touched the ball before hitting the net, the referee awarded the goal. According to IFAB rules, a goal directly from a throw-in is not counted if the ball does not touch any of the players. The Rotor players argued with the referee for a whole minute, but the decision remained in force. The goal was recorded as Lisitsyn's own goal.

The match in Volgograd ended in victory for the hosts with a score of 2:1. By the time of Kuzmin’s goal, Rotor was leading 2:0.
