Statement from the Commander of the US Air Force on 'Operation Epic Rage'

US Air Force Commander General Kenneth Wilsbach gave information about "Operation Epic Fury" against Iran in his speech at the Air, Space and Cyber ​​Conference.

General Wilsbach stated that the operation will be examined in terms of scale, precision and speed.

Wilsbach stated that air force personnel experienced "red alert" situations 1,200 times during Iran's missile and UAV attacks.

Stating that the fleet of approximately 500 aircraft flew 10 thousand sorties and "maintained a flight tempo" of more than 250 per day, Wilsbach stated that more than 13 thousand military targets were hit during combat missions.

Arguing that the operation weakened Iranian positions, Wilsbach reported that US bases in the Middle East "were exposed to retaliatory missile and UAV attacks that greatly depleted interceptor missile stocks and caused operational damage."

"Strategic competition is heating up, the nature of warfare continues to evolve. Today, that responsibility falls to another generation of Americans who volunteer knowing that the world is not becoming a safer place," Wilsbach said.

In the US Air Force, a "red alert" situation is announced by waving sirens for an air attack, a horn sound for a ground attack, and an announcement made over the public address system.
