While efforts to permanently end the war between the USA and Iran continue, the US-based news site Axios brought up a remarkable claim.

In the news titled "Trump offers economic relief to Iran in exchange for concrete nuclear concessions", based on anonymous US officials; It has been claimed that the US President is willing to ease sanctions against Iran and release frozen Iranian assets in return for taking concrete steps regarding its nuclear program.

A US official with knowledge of the indirect talks between the USA and Iran described the talks as "positive and constructive" and stated that Iran was "flexible" on the nuclear issue.

Despite this, the official pointed out that there were still differences of opinion between the parties and emphasized that an agreement would not be made "unless the nuclear issue is addressed".

Noting that the parties still disagree on the timing of the commitments and who will take which steps first, the official said, "The blockade and sanctions continue to weaken Iran's position. The United States' position is strengthening day by day. President Trump continues to act patiently and remains committed to the goal of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons."

The official said that the US administration is skeptical of Iran's promises and that Washington needs guarantees to prove that Tehran is "serious" and "not just trying to get out of the difficult situation it is in."

Trump, on the other hand, denied Axios' news in his statement on the Truth social media platform and underlined that he had not made any concrete promises to Iran on this issue.

Trump said, "This is not true. I didn't offer them anything. Axios' news, like most other similar news, is a fake news used solely to satisfy the 'Anti-Trump Syndrome'. They should retract this fake news immediately!" he said.
