Khamenei announced that he prevented enemies from advancing in the Arabian Sea

The statement of Khamenei, who replaced his father last March and has not appeared in public since then, was published by Iranian state television.

Without directly mentioning the name of the USA in his message, Khamenei said, "Today, after receiving heavy blows from our brave warriors and the guardians of the Strait of Hormuz, the enemies no longer dare to go beyond the Arabian Sea."

The Iranian leader said, "Whenever they risked this, the only result they achieved was to harm themselves. The day is not far when the Arabian Sea will be free from their presence."

Ships that want to reach the Iranian coast and the Strait of Hormuz pass through the Arabian Sea, which lies between the Arabian Peninsula and India.

The Strait of Hormuz stands out as one of the strategically important sea lanes for global energy trade. It is stated that before the war, approximately one fifth of the world's hydrocarbon trade passed through this route.
