Statement from Minister of Justice Gürlek about criminal organizations

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek said, "Faith and religious values ​​​​cannot be turned into a tool or shield of criminal activities in any way. Our state is determined to fight against actions that are clearly considered crimes by law, and it also maintains the same determination to protect our citizens' freedom of belief and worship." he said.

Gürlek, in his statement on his NSosyal account, stated that the Republic of Turkey continues its fight against criminal organizations and gangs with determination, within the framework of the principles of the rule of law, regardless of who they are or under what guise they operate.

Emphasizing that necessary steps have been taken against structures that commit crimes by exploiting the beliefs and religious feelings of citizens and gain unfair profits in this way, Gürlek said:
